Defending Expedition League champion Western Nebraska had their way with the Casper Horseheads on Friday night posting a 16-0 win. The Pioneers scored 5 times in the first inning and never looked back. They pounded out 18 hits and took advantage of 5 Casper errors. Pitcher Nick Perry took the loss, giving up 5 runs in the opening frame. At the plate for Casper, Robert Cruz went 2-4 and Payton Flynn went 3-5. The Horseheads are 5-7 on the year and will meet Western Nebraska Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at Lansing Field.
