The state of Wyoming will be in between weather systems today.  Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies and mainly dry weather conditions statewide.  Temperatures, however, will be cold and below average.  Highs will remain in the 20's and 30's.  Expect breezy to gusty winds today, which will continue to create some areas of blowing snow along I-80 from Cheyenne to Rawlins.  There could also still be slick and icy spots on roadways through mid-day.  A low pressure system and cold front will approach Wyoming tonight and will then move across the state on Saturday and Sunday.  This will create a strong pressure gradient over the entire region during this time.  Winds will increase later tonight and will become strong to very high by early Saturday morning.  Strong to very high winds will then remain in the forecast for the rest of Saturday and Sunday.  Central and southeastern Wyoming, including I-25 (Colorado to Glendo) and I-80 (Nebraska to Rock Springs) can expect wind gusts between 50 and 75 mph.  Elsewhere, expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph.  These strong to very high winds will continue to create blowing snow, especially over the higher elevations of I-80.  Watch out for reduced visibility as well as redeveloping slick and icy roadways.  Expect only a small chance for snow this weekend, mainly over the mountains and higher elevations.  Temperatures will be warmer and closer to average by Saturday, then colder weather returns by Sunday.
