LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Toys for Tots will be collecting toys on Saturday at the Wyoming-New Mexico football game in Laramie.

Toys for Tots is a program begun by the Marine Corps Reserve in 1947 to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to needy children.

Cash donations will also be accepted to purchase additional toys for children. All the donations will remain in Albany County.

There will be collection points at Gates 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 at War Memorial Stadium.

Volunteers will also be present in Tailgate Park and in Cowboy Joe Club donor parking lots.
