Cheers erupted outside the legislative chamber in Nebraska on Thursday as the last vote was counted.

South Dakota’s Republican governor is pledging to bar mail-order abortion pills but says women shouldn't face prosecution for seeking them.

"The states should decide how to approach abortion. I'm grateful for this pro-life decision from the Court today," Senator Cynthia Lummis wrote.

Julie Burkhart, the Director of Wellspring Health Access, a women's health clinic that recently opened in Casper, issued a statement on the decision, calling it 'devastating.'
