"Christmas is about what you give, not what you get," said the Glasgow daughters.

The Wyoming Food for Thought Project recently announced the return of their Winter Market season, beginning on March 13.

“As a parent, it means a lot,” she said with tears in her eyes. “You struggle to try and give your kids everything and then, when you can’t give them something on Christmas, it breaks your heart. To be able to have an opportunity to get that, and then you don’t have to feel like a bad parent, it’s amazing. It’s a great feeling.”

The first town hall meeting on Feb. 27 was attended by more than 60 people.

The Wyoming Food For Thought Project has given Casper so much since it's inception. Among plenty of other activities, they host the Weekend Backpack Program, the Farmers Market, and more. Now, they're getting the city involved with their Community Garden:

As part of their service-learning project, Casper College nursing students are hosting a food-packaging event along with a food drive on Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Liesinger Hall Gym on the Casper College campus. According to Marianne Madariaga, Casper College nursing instructor, volunteers are needed to help the students package 10,000 rice meals for both the Casper communit

The Casper Man-Cave and Wyoming Food For Thought Project are teaming up to raise food and money for the Weekend Back-Pack Program.
