Joe Osterholt has been an active member of Stage III Community Theatre since the mid 1990's as an actor, director,set builder,past board president and the driving force behind the renovations that turned an old bar into the theatre that exists today.

Joe was diagnosed with a brain tumor 3 weeks ago and just had recent surgery. He faces months of chemotherapy and radiation as well as rehabilitation as he recovers. Stage III has a number of fundraisers happening around the current production at the the theatre. Pat Pulitzer joined us this morning to outline the upcoming events.

Fundraiser Part 1;

a benefit performance of "The Trial Of Ebenezer Scrooge" will be held on Sunday, December 4th at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $12 adults, $8 seniors and students with all of the proceeds going to the fund. There will also be a bake sale at this performance. During the run of the show all sales of treats and beverages will also be contributed along with a nightly 50/50 raffle and donation jars.

Fundraiser Part 2;

there will be a silent auction with a wide variety of items that have been donated by local businessess and individuals. Bids may be placed in the lobby during the hour before each performance (even if not attending the performance itself) The performance dates are Dec 2,3,9,10,11,15,16 & 17. Final bids will be taken Sunday, Dec 18th from 1-2 and the items will be released to the winning bidders at 2pm. Here is a partial list of items up for auction.

Fundraiser 3;

Townsquare Media has donated  a $10,000 add package to highlight a raffle that also includes a 2nd prize of software installation and support for accounting software as well as a 3rd prize of $250 in goods and services from Advanced Hydraulic and Machine. Raffle tickets are $100.00 each and are available thru 12/31/2011 and can be purchased at the theatre or by calling Pat Greiner at 307-266-5252.

One can also make individual contributions thru any Hilltop National Bank to the Osterholt Family Fund.
