Inmate At Fremont County Detention Center Took His Own Life

An inmate at the Fremont County Detention Center killed himself, the county sheriff said Thursday.

Ty Wolfname showed no warning signs before ending his life August 31.

"Mr. Wolfname's suicide was a tragic event that occurred in our detention facility and has had a profound effect on our staff," Fremont County Sheriff Ryan Lee wrote in a press release.

The sheriff did not specify why Wolfname was being held at the jail.
