Sen. Enzi Nominates Casper Students for US Service Academies
Wyoming Republican Senator Mike Enzi has nominated a pair of Casper students to attend service academies next year.
Lauren Blackwelder was nominated for the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, while Malia Hart received Enzi's nomination to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
In total, Enzi nominated 14 Wyoming residents for service academies in 2020. On Thursday, he announced his choices for the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, the Military Academy at West Point and the Naval Academy.

"It is an honor to nominate these impressive Wyoming students who are driven with integrity and character," Enzi said in a statement Thursday.
Enzi chose the nominees with the help of a selection committee he put together. Once the nomination process is complete, each academy will make a final selection.
