A quiet start to the day across the Cowboy State will be replaced by some thunderstorm activity later on.  Once again, the most abundant moisture will be found in the western third of the state.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the west this afternoon with some of them heading further east as the day wears on.  Southeast Wyoming looks to be in a good position for thunderstorm activity later today as well.  Central and northern areas will see only isolated thunderstorms.

Tomorrow's thunderstorm activity looks to be centered in the same portions of the state, namely the west, in the mountains and in the southeast.  As we head into Friday, the moisture will push further east, giving central and eastern Wyoming a better chance for scattered thunderstorms.
