A Natrona County man is admitting that he had sexual-related photos of children, that he shouldn't have had.

Nineteen-year old Nathan Courchane has pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.

Investigators with the Natrona County Sheriff's Office say in November 2013, they received a tip through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigations, that they had been contacted by the Microsoft Corporation, in regards to an image of child porn that had passed through one of their computer servers.

Microsoft provided an email and an IP address of the suspect, and both of them were traced back to Courchane.

When interviewed he admitted to receiving and requesting photos of youngsters, and said he was going through a phase at the time, but had moved past it.

Investigators later found out that a total of 23 images of child porn were sent or received by Courchane via his cell phone, between July 2013 and January 2014.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek a three-to-five year prison sentence, with a boot camp recommendation.

Courchane is being held on $15,000 bond, and will be sentenced at a later date.
