A Midwest man is facing charges that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl.

Forty-four year old Mario Flores has pleaded not guilty to one count of first degree sexual assault, one count of first degree sexual abuse of a minor, and one count of second degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Investigators with the Natrona County Sheriff's Office say in late August, the victim claimed she was at Flores' place, when he started to touch her.

When she tried to leave, Flores locked the front door and then continued with what he was doing to her and more.

When interviewed, Flores first said on the day in question that the victim was never at his place, then changed his story, but denied ever doing anything to her.

Flores is being held on $200,000 bond awaiting trial and could face between five-to-50 years in prison on the first degree sexual assault charge, 25-to-50 years in prison on the first degree sexual abuse of a minor charge, and up to 20 years in prison on the second degree sexual abuse of a minor charge, if convicted.
