A convicted sex offender is accused of re-offending in Casper.

Fifty-five year old Lynn Charles Lee has been charged with three counts of first degree sexual assault and three counts of second degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in June 2013, the victim claimed that he had been raped and then was told that if he told anyone, he would find his mom dead.

Police learned that Lee had been on parole at the time, after serving 12 years in prison, because he had been convicted of third degree sexual assault back in 2000.

The victim also claimed that Lee ordered him to visit again for more sexual acts, under the threat of blackmail.

Lee is being held on $150,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face between five-to-50 years in prison on each of the first degree sexual assault charges, and up to 20 years on each of the second degree sexual abuse of a minor charges, if convicted.

Prosecutors might seek to apply the habitual criminal tag.
