Jorge Lopez Admits To Impregnating Teen

A Casper man is now admitting that he impregnated a teenager.

Thirty-seven year old Jorge Lopez has pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

The victim told Casper Police investigators, she had sex with Lopez several times between April and July of 2011.

At the time, she was 14-years-old.

She became pregnant, and DNA tests confirmed that Lopez was the father, although he initially denied having a sexual relationship with the victim.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a four-to-nine year prison sentence.

Lopez is being held on $20,000 bond and will be sentenced at a later date.
