Cheyenne Man Accused of Stalking Ex-Girlfriend, Entering Her Car With Loaded Gun

A 34-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after police responding to a stalking reportedly found him in his ex-girlfriend's vehicle with a loaded gun.

According to a booking sheet, police were called to the area of West 3rd Avenue and Warren Avenue at about 10:33 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, for a stalking.

Police say the reporting party told them her ex-boyfriend, David Kaleb Larimore, was in the area with a gun trying to find her, and that he had entered her vehicle without her permission and was sitting in the vehicle honking the horn.

Police contacted Larimore in the front passenger seat, who reportedly told them that he was in the area to confront his ex-girlfriend.

Police Say Larimore Had a Loaded Gun

Police say when they searched the vehicle, they found a loaded handgun under the center console which Larimore admitted to having brought with him.

Larimore was arrested and subsequently charged with felony possession of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent, misdemeanor stalking, and
misdemeanor criminal entry.

He made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday morning, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 6 at 2:30 p.m.
