Horseheads Win Series Opener Vs. Hastings

The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team bombarded Hastings, Nebraska 14-7 in Expedition League play on Monday night at Lansing Field. Needless to say, the Horseheads got the most out of their bats with Jake Brown, Luis Alcantara and Brad Polinsky all getting 3 hits. Brown also hit a 2 run homer. Gillette native Dillon Buckmeier drove in 3 runs with a triple. After a rough homestand  in which the Horseheads were dominated by Western Nebraska, last nights win was more than encouraging. Casper is 3-5 on the year in the Expedition league and will host Hastings on Tuesday night at Lansing Field.
