The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball was swept in a doubleheader by Souris Valley from Minot, North Dakota at Lansing Field on Wednesday night.. Casper lost the first game 13-1 as Horsehead pitcher Alec Meyer lasted just an inning and 2 thirds, giving up 5 runs and 4 hits. Jesse Carr pitched 3 innings and allowed 8 runs on 7 hits. The Horseheads lost the nightcap 13-4 as pitcher Tyson Ellis gave up 7 runs and 7 hits. At the plate, Andrew Garcia went 2-4 with 2 RBI’s in that 2nd game. Casper is 14-32 in Expedition League play which continues to be the worst in the league. They'll host Hub City from Aberdeen. South Dakota tomorrow night at Lansing Field at 6:30.
