The Casper Horsehead collegiate baseball team found some traction over the weekend with a 3 game sweep of the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs in Expedition League play. On Sunday, the Horseheads survived with a 7-5 victory thanks to 2 hits and 3 RBI's from Nick Iwasa. Casper also received productive efforts at the plate from Roberto Diaz and Jackson Collins who combined for 3 hits and 4 runs batted in. Casper tallied 4 times in the 5th inning withstood a Souris Valley rally in the 8th as they put 3 runs on the board. Casper is now 13-14 overall and Sundays attendance was 521. The Horseheads hit the road starting a series in Dickinson, North Dakota on Tuesday night.
