The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team returns to Lansing Field starting on Monday with a week's worth of games beginning on Monday. The Horseheads will start the home stand out with the Badlands Big Sticks on Monday and will try and reverse their recent fortunes. The team did break a 4 game losing streak on Sunday with a 7-2 road win over Spearfish, South Dakota. Jake Brown went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Jackson Collins had 2 hits, an RBI and a run scored. Pitcher Nick Roach was solid throwing 7 innings, giving up 2 runs and 3 hits. On Saturday. Casper absorbed an 8-2 loss to Spearfish with Derek Almanza going 1-3 with 2 RBI's. It was a tough night for the Horseheads on Friday as they were shelled by Spearfish 20-7. Anthony Zellner had a nice night at the plate with 3 hits, 2 RBI's and a run scored. Casper finished the first half of the Expedition League season with a record of 14-16 and currently 15-18 overall. The Horseheads will entertain Badlands in a 4 games series starting on Monday. Then a 3 game set against Western Nebraska starting on Friday
