The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team returns to Lansing Field starting on Monday for a homestand that will last through Sunday. The Horseheads will have a 3 games series with Wheat City, Manitoba and then start a 4 game series with Fremont, Nebraska starting on Thursday. Last week, Casper won 2 of 3 from Wheat City on the road beginning with a 6-1 loss on Thursday as the Horseheads managed just 3 hits. Things did get better on Friday with Casper posting a 9-7 victory in 12 innings over the Whiskey Jacks. Robert Cruz went 3-6 with 2 RBI's and Jake Brown went 2-5 with 3 RBI's. On Saturday, the Horseheads beat Wheat City again 9-7 as Crus had 3 hits and 3 runs scored. Roberto Diaz, Jackson Collins and Brad Polinsky had 2 RBI's apiece. Casper is 10-9 in the 2nd half of the Expedition League season and 24-25 overall.
