The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team ended the 4th of July weekend on a high note with a 10-5 win over Souris Valley at Lansing Field on Sunday. The outfit from Minot, North Dakota saw their 12 game winning streak end as the Horseheads scored 5 runs in the 3rd inning, Jake Brown had a solid afternoon at the plate, going 3-4 with 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored. Pitcher Nick Roach looked sharp on the mound, with 7 innings of work and allowing just one run and 5 hits. On Saturday,  the Horseheads dropped an 11-7 decision to the Sabre Dogs as Casper surrendered 6 runs in the 3rd inning. Jack Collins went 4-4 with 4 RBI's for the Horseheads with Anthony Zellmer going 1-5 with 2 runs batted in. Casper is 5-6 in the 2nd half of the Expedition League season and 19-22 overall. They'll start a road series in Fremont, Nebraska on Tuesday night.
