Horseheads Prevail in Rain Shortened Game

The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team played one game at Lansing Field against, Minot, North Dakota and the other one was rained out. The Horseheads beat Souris Valley 12-11 in 5 innings last night as Conner Lowrie went 3-4 with 3 RBI’s and 3 runs scored. Robert Cruz went 1-4 with 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored. Casper fell behind 5-0 in the game but rallied for 8 runs in the 2nd inning. Casper pitcher Tyler Naumann gave up 12 hits and 9 runs in 4 innings of work. The Horseheads improve to 14-30 on the year and there is a doubleheader scheduled for tonight at Lansing Field with Minot. The first game will start at 5 with the 2nd game around 7pm
