Horseheads Lose Big to Western Nebraska
It was another downer of a game by the Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team as they lost to Western Nebraska in Gering Wednesday 18-8. Casper pitching walked 10 batters with Wellington Mariano working 3 innings
, giving up 8 hits and 8 runs with 5 walks. Kobe Stoner worked an inning and a third and gave up 7 runs on 3 hits. At the plate for Casper, Daulton Mauldin went 3-4 with a home run and 2 RBI’s Andrew Garcia went 2-5 with 2 runs scored. Collin Chaney with a home run and 2 RBI’s and Braden Rogers drove in 3 runs. The Horseheads are a miserable 17-43 on the year and will be in Hastings, Nebraska tomorrow.
