The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team struggled on the road over the weekend in Gering with 3 loss to Western Nebraska. On Friday. the Horseheads were drilled by the Pioneers 18-2 and were soundly beaten on Saturday 11-2. It didn't get much better for Casper on Sunday as they absorbed a 9-1 loss in a contest that had to endure a lengthy lightning delay. The Horseheads  currently sits at 2-5 in Expedition League play and  will host Hastings, Nebraska in a 4 game series starting on Monday at Lansing Field at 6:30. Following that, Casper will host Western Nebraska Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
