The 2 game winning streak for the Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team came to an end on Wednesday, thanks to a 9-1 loss to Hastings in Expedition League play on Wednesday night in Lansing Field. The Horseheads managed just 5 hits with Robert Cruz driving in the only run. Hastings exploded for 7 runs in the 7th and 8th innings combined as Pitcher Robert Meadows took the loss, giving up 7 runs and 8 hits in 3 innings of work. Casper is now 4-6 and will meet Hastings at Lansing on Thursday night and will start at 3 game home series with Western Nebraska on Friday.
