A Las Vegas man is now admitting he stole a camper trailer.

Donnie Neice has pleaded guilty to one charge of grand larceny.

According to Casper Police,  Neice,  along with his accomplice, Michael Neely, used a pick-up truck to steal a trailer from the twelve-hundred block of Hawthorne Street in May.

The owner of the trailer saw it being pulled away, and called police, who eventually caught up to the pair.

Investigators say both initially gave officers false names and identification, and had only been in Casper for a few weeks, working at a ranch outside of the city.

Prosecutors say they planned to steal the camper for Neice, so he and his girlfriend could live in it at the ranch.

Officers later found out that Neice was wanted out of Las Vegas, for attempted homicide.

As part of plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a two-and-one-half to four year prison sentence.

As for Neely, he pleaded guilty to one count of larceny and will be sentenced at a later date.
