Colorado Woman Pleads Guilty to Meth Charge in Wyoming
A 45-year-old Colorado woman has pleaded guilty to felony possession of methamphetamine in Wyoming.
Lisa Rench entered the plea Thursday in Laramie County District Court as part of a deal with prosecutors.
Rench and her ex-boyfriend, Traquevis Hardy, were arrested on May 13 after Wyoming troopers responding to a REDDI report found drug paraphernalia in their car.
Rench, who reportedly had 18.3 grams of meth on her while she was being booked into jail, told the court that she knew Hardy had a warrant so she picked it up off the car seat and stuck it in her bra.
Rench remains free on bond. Her sentencing date will be set as soon as a presentence report is complete.
The plea agreement calls for a sentence of three to five years suspended in favor of three years of probation.
