Today will be another gorgeous December day statewide with bountiful sunshine, not too much wind and mild, above average temperatures.  Highs will easily warm into the 40s and 50s with even a few lower 60s in southeast Wyoming.

Do not get to used to the mild weather, however, as a fairly strong cold front will start to work its way into northern Wyoming tonight and cross the entire state early Thursday.  Be ready for sharply colder temperatures and snow showers tomorrow.  Most of the state will see snow, and traveling will be tricky in some areas as there will be some ice, snow pack and reduced visibility at times.  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for northeast Wyoming for much of the day Thursday.  Most areas will only see daytime highs in the teens and 20s, with a few 30s in the southeast early in the morning.
