Cheyenne Police Looking for Motorcyclist After Chase [VIDEO]

Police are trying to track down a motorcyclist who led an officer on a chase through south Cheyenne.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says it all started around 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30 when an officer spotted an unregistered dirt bike in the 900 block of E. 9th Street and tried to stop the two riders.

"The driver refused to stop," said Malatesta. "The pursuit was ended when the officer realized the passenger on the bike was a child."

Police have released video of the chase and are asking anyone who recognizes the two riders to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.

Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.​
