The Casper Civic Chorale will present a concert of Choral Masterworks on Tuesday, October 23rd, 7:30 p.m. at Casper's First United Methodist Church.

An organ fanfare will announce the opening Baroque masterwork by G. F. Handel, followed by a lightly swinging a cappella selection by Gottfried Homilius. The challenging music of J. S. Bach rounds out the first part of the program with his Motet VI: Praise the Lord, All Ye Nations with a harpsichord and cello continuo accompaniment.

The contrasting middle section will feature the Ensemble, a newly formed group of 15 singers from the Chorale.

The third and final program segment will present a charming variety of songs by contemporary composers.

The program will be directed by Chorale founder Wayne McIntire. Tickets for the concert may be purchased at the door, at Hill Music, or at Donnell's Candies.
