A Casper man charged with multiple armed robberies changes his plea.

This week in Natrona County District Court, forty-five-year-old, Robert Blackbonnet, changed his plea to guilty for his involvement in a series of armed robberies.

Blackbonnet was facing a possible life sentence if convicted and opted to go with a thirty to fifty year sentence.

Robert and his son, Anthony Blackbonnet were arrested in December and charged with robbing several businesses and homes using a large caliber revolver. Three other men, Tahwoncha Ray,  James Patrick, and Anthony Atkinson are also facing charges for their involvement in the crimes.

Robert Blackbonnet currently awaits sentencing in the Natrona County Detention Center.
