Twenty-six year old Alex Tougher will spend the next seven-to-ten years behind bars, following a crash that killed Lydia Pace, a passenger in his SUV.

Earlier this year, the Casper man entered a guilty plea to a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide.

In December, Tougher was eastbound on Highway 20/26 Bypass, and lost control of his SUV on the Southbound I-25 ramp, rolling down the embankment.

Investigators say he was going at least eighty miles per hour at the time of the crash.

Police say he left the scene, leaving his critically injured passenger behind.

Tougher admitted that he had been drinking with friends prior to the crash.
