The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wyoming celebrated its 25th anniversary at its annual Stories of Light Wine Tasting/Dinner/Auction on November 13, 2010 at the Best Western Ramkota in Casper.  The theme this year is “25 Years Making Wishes Come True.”  Former wish child, Taylor Stonehouse relived her struggle with leukemia and how her wish, a pregnant horse, helped her through her treatments.  She is now a 24 year old young lady with a Masters Degree and engaged to marry next summer.  We also honored the Founders of the Wyoming Chapter and all former Board of Directors who were in attendance that evening.

The wine tasting featured a large variety of exclusive wines by Poplar Wine & Spirits. Music was provided by “Equinox Trio.” A gourmet dinner was served, and portraits of wish children by artist Tom Loepp were auctioned and then presented to the wish families.  Other wonderful live auctions included original artwork, Mexico and Costa Rica vacation packages, fly fishing trips, golf packages in Sheridan and Jackson, jewelry, and other fabulous items.  The highlight of the evening was inspirational stories and videos shared by wish families.
