Strong high pressure will stay in control of the state's weather through the weekend.  Temperatures will continue to soar into the 80s and 90s, with a few 70s for the high country.  Overnight lows will be mainly in the 50s and lowers 60s, with 40s for the mountains.

As we have been seeing, there will continue to be chances for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms.  For today the thunderstorms will be focused mainly in the state's mountains, with just a slight chance of thunderstorms in the lower elevations.  Thunderstorm activity will pick up a bit more this weekend.  With more available moisture to work with, central and eastern Wyoming will see better chances of precipitation this weekend as well.
