The I-25 and I-80 corridors and adjacent roads throughout central, eastern and southern Wyoming will see very strong and gusty winds today. Sustained winds of 25 to 40 mph likely for many areas with gusts to 60 mph or higher in the wind prone locations

High pressure will slowly slide east today, which will cause winds to increase and become strong by this afternoon and evening. Expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph throughout central and southeastern Wyoming

A weather system out of the northwest will cause clouds to thicken throughout the state today. Light snow will also develop in western and southern portions of the state this afternoon and evening. This will cause visibility to be reduced at times and roads to become slick and icy, especially across I-25 (Colorado state line to Wheatland), I-80 (Nebraska state line to Lyman) and US-85 (Colorado state line to LaGrange)
