Jamie Cleghorn Arrested By Utah Police

An Alabama woman wanted on at least 42 charges in Wyoming and in Utah, is back in custody.

Police in Layton, Utah found and arrested 34-year old Jamie Cleghorn on Monday, August 26th.

She was found hiding under a blanket in the backseat of her husband's car.

Law enforcement officials say Cleghorn is wanted on various charges, including identity theft, passing counterfeit money, child abuse and giving pornography to children under the age of 10.

In mid-August, she led law enforcement officials on a chase in west-central Wyoming, which ended when she crashed her car in downtown Riverton.

She was taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah for treatment, but when the hospital released her, no one from law enforcement was there to arrest her.
