Rare Solar Event Peaks Over Casper Sunday May 20th

On Sunday, May 20th, 2012 an annular solar eclipse will be seen across areas of the western United States.

Warm And Sunny

High pressure overhead will keep conditions unseasonably warm and dry today and Tuesday for Casper and all of Wyoming.  Temperatures will be a good 15 degrees above normal for most locations.  Continued warm for the middle to end of the week.Â

Cooler temperatures have spread across much of the state.  For a change, the coolest temperatures will be found in the southeast due to the cloud cover and a few more light spring showers.  Highs will range from the 40s in the southeast to the upper 50s and lower 60s near Casper and Sheridan
