Charges have been dropped against a former manager of an East Casper Ice Cream Store, accused of taking some of the money.

A judge agreed with both the prosecution and the defense, to dismiss the case against Jamie Tippetts of Bar Nunn, who was facing one charge of larceny by bailee.

Restitution has been paid in full, hence there is no further need for court proceedings.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in June and July of 2014, a number of bank deposits for Ken and Betty's Ice Cream, were never recorded at the bank.

When contacted by store owners Tippetts said she would get it done, but then later resigned.

Detectives searched financial records and determined that about $5,000 was missing and also learned that Tippetts got married in early July, and she and her new husband were having financial problems.

When interviewed, Tippetts told investigators that she believed some errors were made by the bank, when the deposits were made.
