A former manager of an East Casper Ice Cream Store is accused of taking some of the money.

Jamie Tippetts of Bar Nunn, has pleaded not guilty to one charge of larceny by bailee.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in June and July of 2014, a number of bank deposits for Ken and Betty's Ice Cream, were never recorded at the bank.

When contacted by store owners Tippetts said she would get it done, but then later resigned.

Detectives searched financial records and determined that about $5,000 was missing and also learned that Tippetts got married in early July, and she and her new husband were having financial problems.

Tippetts told investigators that she believed some errors were made by the bank, when the deposits were made.

She is free on $5,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face up to 10 years in prison, if convicted.
