Jonathon Cummins Pleads Guilty To Child Sex Crime Conspiracy Charges
A Natrona County man is now admitting he asked for child porn from a friend.
Twenty-six year old Jonathon Cummins has pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiracy to commit first degree sexual abuse of a minor and one charge of conspiracy to commit sexual exploitation of children.
Investigators say in January, Cummins reported to Natrona County Sheriff’s Deputies, that he had received child pornography images from 26-year old Kelly Turner.
Prosecutors say she admitted taking and sending the pictures, because Cummins had requested them.
When questioned, Cummins admitted he had made the requests.
As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a 17-year prison term, on the sexual abuse of a minor conspiracy charge.
That would then be followed by a 5-to-10 year suspended prison sentence with 8 years of probation, on the sexual exploitation of children conspiracy charge.
Meanwhile, Turner was recently sentenced to 25-to-30 years at the Wyoming Women's Center in Lusk, for her role in the case.
