A Mills woman is admitting that she created and sent pornographic images of children.

Twenty-five-year-old Kelly Turner has pleaded guilty to two counts of manufacturing, generating, creating and/or distributing child pornography and one count of first degree sexual abuse of a minor.

In January, Natrona County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were contacted by someone who had received the images and allowed investigators to search their phone and retrieve the pictures.

Deputies were able to determine the number of the person who sent the images and traced it back to Turner, who later admitted to investigators that she took the pictures and sent them.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a 35 year prison sentence.

Turner has also agreed to testify against a co-defendant.
