A Mills woman will spend quite some time in prison, after admitting she created and sent pornographic images of children.

Twenty-six year old Kelly Turner was given a 25-to-30 year sentence at the Wyoming Women's Center in Lusk, after pleading guilty to one count of first degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Concurrently, she will also serve two eight-to-10 years prison terms, after pleading guilty to two counts of manufacturing, generating, creating and/or distributing child pornography.

In January, Natrona County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were contacted by Jonathan Cummins, who had received the images and allowed investigators to search his phone and retrieve the pictures.

Deputies were able to determine the number of the person who sent the images and traced it back to Turner, who later admitted to investigators that she took the pictures and sent them.

Investigators say Cummins requested the photos and he is awaiting trial after pleading not guilty to seven child sex crime charges.

As a part of her plea deal, Turner agreed to testify against Cummins.
