A Mills woman has denied in court that she created and sent pornographic images of children.

Twenty-five year old Kelly Turner has pleaded not guilty to three counts of manufacturing, generating, creating and/or distributing child pornography.

In January, Natrona County Sheriff's Deputies say they were contacted by someone who had received the images and allowed investigators to search their phone and retrieve the pictures.

Deputies were able to determine the number of the person who sent the images and traced it back to Turner, who later admitted to investigators that she took the pictures and sent them.

She is being held on $15,000 bond awaiting trial and could receive up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
