Although conditions have started out fairly calm, the wind will be on the increase later today and this evening.  West to southwest winds will turn strong and gusty especially in the southwestern and central portions of the state.  There Red Flag Warnings are in effect through 9 PM tonight due to this wind, low relative humidity and the very high to extreme fire danger.

There is a small chance for a few isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms in central and eastern Wyoming today.  As tomorrow rolls around we will tap into some moisture coming up from the south, which will trigger a few thunderstorms in the southern portion of the state.

As far as temperatures go, they will stay hot.  Expect highs mainly in the 80s and 90s with a few 70s in the higher elevations on Friday.
