The state’s mountains and perhaps the far northeast corner may see a few light snow showers today, otherwise conditions will be mainly dry through the start of the weekend.  With mostly sunny to sunny skies expected, temperatures will have a chance to warm up as well.  Daytime highs will be in the 30s and lower 40s for the high elevations, with 50s expected elsewhere.

The next big weather maker moves in on Sunday.  Pacific moisture will come in along a cold front late Sunday.  Western counties, the state’s mountains and areas along the northern border can expect developing snow showers later Sunday.  Meanwhile, central and southern Wyoming will experience strong, gusty west winds and mild temperatures.

Late Sunday into Monday the cold front pushes east.  Snow showers will spread into central and northeastern Wyoming.  Areas in the south will see some snow too, but it will be lighter and more scattered.  Strong, gusty winds will accompany the snow leading to blowing snow and poor visibility in places.
