CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Representatives from nearly every school district in Wyoming are gathering in Casper for the Wyoming Education Association's annual delegate assembly.

The assembly opens Thursday and will continue through Saturday.

The union has over 5,000 members in Wyoming and is part of the National Education Association, the nation's largest teachers union. The nearly 150 delegates will debate and adopt policies for the association and may change the group's legislative agenda.

NEA president Dennis Van Roekel will speak to the delegates on Saturday morning.
