Wyoming NORML Misses 2018 Ballot Deadline
A group working to legalize medical marijuana in Wyoming has, once again, fallen short in their attempt to put the question before voters.
The Wyoming Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) had until February 14 to collect the 25,673 signatures needed to get the measure on the 2018 general election ballot, but failed to do so.
The group had hoped to put the measure on the 2016 ballot, but infighting in the organization slowed the initiative and petitioners were only able to collect about 14,400 signatures.
