CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A Montana man acquitted of a Wyoming murder charge earlier this year has filed a federal lawsuit against three former Sublette County investigators. Troy Willoughby was acquitted after the Sublette County Attorney's Office announced that a possibly exculpatory police report was never disclosed to Willoughby's attorneys at his first trial.

PINEDALE, Wyo. (AP) — Full containment of a wildfire that once posed a threat to Jackson could come as early as this weekend. The fight against the 3,400-acre Horsethief Canyon Fire is ramping down with the flames 83 percent contained. Residents evacuated because of the Chall Creek Fire near Pinedale, meanwhile, have been allowed to return home.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Federal regulators say Kinder Morgan Upstream LLC has agreed to pay $316,000 for violating risk management plan provisions at its natural gas plants in Casper and Douglas. The Environmental Protection Agency says the company has agreed to establish new operating procedures, improve equipment maintenance, and perform tests to reduce the possibility of accidental releases of hazardous chemicals at both facilities.

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Montana will face Wyoming in Laramie for the first time since 1997 in the 2014 football season. The Missoulian reports the Grizzlies are opening their season at Wyoming on Aug. 30 2014. The teams have played 13 times, with the Cowboys winning each time
