When we think of places to retire, we think of Florida, California, or maybe the Bahama's. But there are states in the Union that are very veteran friendly, and that matters.

Recently, WalletHub.com came out and found that Wyoming is in the top 5 states that are friendly for veteran retirement.

Some of the metrics they used to determine the best retirement states for veterans included, but were not limited to: health care, economic environment and quality of life.

  1. Wyoming - The Cowboy State ranked number one when it came to retirement for our veterans.
  2. Montana
  3. South Dakota
  4. Maine
  5. Florida

If you are a veteran, what do you think about Wyoming and your retirement? Where would you like to spend the rest of your years in America or in the world? Share it with us in the comments section below.
