The video starts like any average fishing trip. It begins with a pre-dawn wake up call, loading the truck, and then heading out. But, the first stop is not for bait but to load up some fish on a helicopter. These efforts help keep the fishing good for years to come.

Wyoming Game and Fish uses helicopters to deliver fish to lakes and ponds that otherwise might be inaccessible. In the YouTube video description, they wrote:

Due to the remote location of the lakes, a helicopter is used to increase the efficiency of the work. Using the helicopter not only means stocking more lakes in less time, but it also means the fish experience less stress. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into a day of stocking alpine lakes.

It is a good use of both technology and ingenuity that in a few years, will help keep our lines tight all season long.
