High pressure will remain settled over the state of Wyoming for the rest of today and Thursday.  Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, warmer than normal temperatures, and mainly dry weather conditions statewide.  High temperatures will remain in the 30's and 40's, with some lower 50's possible in the eastern plains.  Winds will be breezy to gusty today, with some occasional gusting of 35+ mph over the more wind-prone areas of I-80 and I-25.  By Thursday, winds will start to increase and will become strong, especially across central and eastern Wyoming.  Watch out for wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph.  One fast-moving weather system will quickly push across northeastern Wyoming on Friday, while a larger and slower-moving weather system approaches western Wyoming later in the day.  As a result, strong to very high winds will be found throughout much of the state.  Watch out for wind gusts between 60 and 80 mph at times across the wind-prone areas of northwest, central, and southeastern Wyoming.  Elsewhere, wind gusts will remain between 35 and 50 mph.  Snow will also develop in western Wyoming during the day and will then push into south-central Wyoming at night.  Colder temperatures and a chance for snow will then be possible across the entire state this weekend.
